Nope......I have not had a single issue once I figured out that having the OBD adapter plugged in before I started the truck was what was causing the issues. Now I always start the truck first...and then plug in the adapter.
I have not had a single glitch at all.
Have you gone through all of the wires and connectors behind the dash? There are a lot of them. It's pretty easy to take the entire dash cover off....it gives you easy access to everything.
Good luck....these issues will drive you crazy until you figure them out.
The OBD-USB adapter I'm using for Autoenginuity is the cause of the communication problem. When nothing is connected, I use an older basic code reader, or a WiFi adapter with ForScan it doesn't have the issue. Now I need to determine if the adapter is bad, or the truck is having a fit because this adapter is fed power from the usb port on the laptop where the other two adapters get power from the vehicle.
