Any know anything about this?
I was at a swap meet today looking for information on my '65 F350. Mainly, where I could get a new set of Tubeless wheels to replace the two part rims that came on it. One of the vendors there suggested I change out the rear axle and spindles to a 8 lug varity for which you can find wheels. He said that the Ford and Dodge used the same axles on their trucks back then except on use an 8 lug pattern while (Ford) use the 6. He said, I sould be able to exchange the spindles on my truck for the spindles on the dodge, and now I have an 8 lug pattern. The rear end never was the problem. There are alot of rear axles out there that will interchange. If any one know anything about this; like what models exchange, I would appreciate the info. Thanks.
