2018 Fall Fling Planning
Wanted to start the planning for the fall fling. Let’s figure out location and timing. Last year we did the fall fling in late September/October time frame at badin lake.

That would be my preference. No volunteer's to come and insinuate we were shooting off rounds in the middle of the camp ground! The down side is that it doesn't have lake access for those wanting to fish. Also no neighbors!

Group site sounds good to me...
On a side note, had bacon, sausage and Marty's Camp Pancakes/Flapjacks on the Blackstone last night...

Uh oh. Looks like you are practicing at being the breakfast cook! Bacon sounds good to me right now, as well as Marty's johnny cakes. I tell you, he sure doesn't say much about it, but that man knows how to cook. I need to stop by his place more often around breakfast and dinner time!

Which Group site did we like the most after driving through, was it A, B, or C? I'm thinking Site A would be the best, to start out with. I know when I stayed there for the Land Rover Jamboree, we just went ahead and rented all three sites. However, we also had corporate backing, so they paid for that. But at 40 for the site, it's not much more than we were paying for the double, and it fits everybody, so we can all here ***** and Wesley sawing logs.

Anytime will be fine by me. I do remember that Matt said that October would be better for him due to obligations in September with the military.
Site A had the little fence that we had to park and take our stuff in and Site B appeared to be open to kinda parking in the site.

So we are looking at the October time frame. Does anyone have any no go dates in October already?
Weekends are:
Friday - Sunday
5 - 8
12 - 14
19 - 21
26 - 28
These all look good to me.
If we can expand the number of people that want to go easily with any additional accommodations, such as electricity, etc. Let me know. I'll see what we can do.

So right now we are looking at October 5th and October 12th. Unless we need to look at any of the other dates for someone.
So what does everyone have going on on the 5th. Does anyone see any issues with planning it for that weekend so we can go ahead and book?
Tony, if I remember correctly. You do not get a discount on the group sites. Is that right?

I went through the process this morning and even though it asked if I had Senior Card, it would not give me a discount. It seems the discount is only good on single sites because I can't get it on the double sites either.
