Hope so. Heard from Matt, he’s not going to make it. Dusty either. However James and David from Raeford will be out, and they’ll be bringing Tobin as well.

Sorry everybody, I'm just seeing this thread now. I check in a few times a week but I've only been looking at subscribed threads, "duh!". Well I had my annual Red X Anglers fishing trip at Bay River over the weekend. Fishing was tough on the river due to hurricane effects, water was very stained and not salty enough for the species we usually target. The area doesn't look too bad but there were MANY large piles of debris in front of homes, guessing damage from flooding was worse than wind effects down there. We still had a good time and I managed to bring home some fresh fish too!

So how did the Fall Fling end up going? Did everything open back up out there? Where are all the pictures of sasquatch?

It went good, Matt.
We missed not having you there.
Everything is pretty much back to normal at Badin Lake.
We stayed in the B Group Camp this time.
Plenty of food, , talk and 4 wheeling. Just a little warm...

Yep,
The weather was a little on the warm side for October camping. I think the humidity was the real problem maker. The food was fantastic, and I think everyone had a good time. Don't think I got any photos this trip. Glad those that could make it did. We will start working on a spring trip here soon.
