FPR Rebuild Kit
Greetings all...….
I have an occasional hesitation/hiccup under load.....yesterday while towing my box trailer, the 7.3l stalled while stopping at a traffic light....it just died as I coasted to a stop.....it fired right back up. I am going to replace the CPS, but was reading over in powerstroke.org where another 7.3l owner described the exact same issue that I am experiencing. It was suggested that he get an FPR rebuild kit from Ford......Is this the FPR rebuild kit: Fuel Pressure Relief Rebuild Kit 99-03 (F81Z9B249BB)
If it is.....Does any one have instructions on how to install the kit?

Morning all...…….
Pulled the codes this morning.....got the following:
P0344 and P0603....I have a mild towing tune for my box trailer and boat......ordering a new CPS from Riffraff today......Do you think I should go ahead and rebuild the FPR? I have no fuel leaks, so I'm not going to rebuild the entire fuel bowl.

Went ahead and ordered a rebuild kit for the FPR.....the kit contained the "blue" spring that many of the 6.0's use.....nice upgrade. Faster starts and better throttle response. One question.....when I removed the fuel line from the FPR, the O ring is questionable. Does anyone know of a source, besides the dealer and a part number for this TINY O ring?
