Turn signal issues.
I'm new here. Quick break down. I recently bought a 1977 F150 4x4, same year I was born 😀. It had brake light issues. Fixed, but due to the bonehead that owned it before me didn't understand how that switch worked I wasted $12. Anyways so I've been reading some of the posts with similar issues and I'm at a loss. So far I've replaced all sockets, turn signal switch in the column, turn signal relay, all bulbs and the headlight switch. Rockauto is a great place to get stuff (unpaid plug). I've got no clue where rlse to go next. Ive also replaced the fuse in the box.
So my next question is What the hell should I look for next? I've checked some of the grounds and the lights are all the same brightness and get the same volts to them, but what's weird is I still have hazard lights. I'm at a loss and I want Darlene to be 100% street legal (hand signals are a pain) Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Will
Maybe someone replaced the switch before you, and didn't get the wires back into the connector correctly?
Are you getting any turn signals? Fronts? Indicators in the gauge cluster? Does the flash relay click?
Here's some pics from when I changed my TS switch, so you can compare pin positions and wire colors:
Wires along top row of connector.
And the three wires along the bottom row.
Another thing I've seen cause the turn signals to not function is the Hazard switch not being all the way in the "off" position. It doesn't sound like that is your problem, but maybe something in your column is blocking the switch from pushing all the way in. Or perhaps the problem is in the Hazard circuit wiring.
And welcome to FTE!

So far I've replaced all sockets,
Did you use aftermarket El cheepo's??? check to make sure the wires leading to the sockets are fully seated and your spices are correct and not crossed..
turn signal switch in the column,
Did you just replace the cam? check to make sure your connection are good, or the entire wiring harness inside the column??
turn signal relay,
Double check wires on the OEM connector .try switching Hazard relay and turn signal relay to verify they both work..
all bulbs and the headlight switch.
Rockauto is a great place to get stuff (unpaid plug). some of us already knew that

I've checked some of the grounds Check them all!!! Including the ones up front under the rubber "flaps" on the radiator core support

Another thing you may want to try is checking your wiring under "Darlene" from front to back and make sure there are no PO (previous Owners) Splices along the frame rails especially by the back bumper for an aftermarket trailer pigtail

Good luck and keep us posted!

Is it possible the yellow and black being crushed could be the problem? There's no wires exposed. I've gone over the grounds again and sanded all contact points. We've had crappy weather so i haven't gotten the xhance to crawrl around under the truck. I did remove a ghetto trailer pigtail. They used a power cord for a lamp as some of the wiring. 😒
Power up the turn signal in one of the directions and follow it with a test light all the way to the relay holder.
(Maybe the blank fuse is part of the circuit !?) (Maybe the ribbon contacts are still suspect?)
Check that power not only enters the relay holder, but actually powers up the relay too.
The Haynes manual wiring diagrams should be a great help with this.
Hopefully the fault lies in the unchecked 10% (somewhere in the spaghetti behind the dash ?).
Best of luck !
Sounds like you have a good idea of how to find the fault, so there's not much to do but keep digging and check every inch of the circuit.
Another thing you could do would be to disintermediate the switch, and manually connect the proper wires to see if by chance you get TS operation that way.
