I'm 700 miles into New sparkplug and boots on a 2011 ecoboost. Today at the tail end of my commute home, the truck couldnt accelerate, shuddered, and the pending code via my obdii reader was p0304.
I pulled the plug and checked the boot on cylinder 4 (first cylinder on driver side) but didn't see anything obvious wrong. I'll buy a new plug and boot tomorrow and see what happens. Anyone else see this sort of thing?
Side note, after putting evrything back together for the night the truck threw and ABS/check brake system code too. IM guessing vaccum pump because I noticed nearly no braking the first time I hit them recently, but I will take a look at that once the engine is back running right.
... while I'm waiting for the parts counter to open, I'm told the F150 doesn't have a vacuum pump by the service advisor. And that's why I do all the work I can on my own. SMH

I recommend you find another dealer then, it's under warranty and they'll fix it.

Eventually he did find it via VIN and was still a %%%% about it even after it stared at him in the face. So I won't go back there for the work. Hardly expect someone to know everything about every model year and model and component. But if I start the conversation, don't like being spoken to like I'm the idiot. Even IF I was wrong, just a bad customer service strategy. Now if only they'd order my headlight bearings...
Following the cylinder 4 misfire fix, I still didn't like how the truck was running.. It wasn't running bad, but it seemed a little lethargic.
Finally gave in and drilled the weep hole. Can't believe what came out of it. At 98k miles I bet most of you are wondering what took me so long. Just didn't think I had an issue until now, and this 1/16th hole seems to have fixed the issue.

Great news! The benefits of such a harmless little hole.
