I have a 66 F100 FE that was 3pd manual and was converted to a earlier dual range cruiso. The top of the cruisomatic case is against the bottom of the cab floor tunnel and makes a racket. Will a transcrossmember from a 64 or earlier fit the 66 frame and will it let the trans sit down lower in the chassis to gain clearance from the floor? The truck has an auto trans crossmember that is a 66 or later. If that won't work will swapping for a C6 be the best (expensive) way to go? Thanks to all, I have had lots of questions lately and have gotten some good help here.
