Unkown plug




ok guys i own a 05 ford f150 xlt lariat 4.6L triton i blew the motor in it and bought an 06 4.6L from and sxt and this plug is on it, and we cant find the male end to this plug for the life of us Does anyone know what it is? both are v8's

Looks like the MAF connector under the air filter housing.

I think @70f100longbed is exactly right. It may be a slight difference in harnesses between the year models. Can't say that I recognize it. But I looked through my Factory Wiring Service Manual and found what LOOKS like the plug layout. The part number is listed as:

12A690 - 12B637 defined as: Wiring harness - Engine control sensor extension

I searched the manual on some of the 'circuit' numbers and came up with what appears to be an extension to the MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR shown in the second attached photo. Maybe this will help if you haven't figured it out already.
