What bucket seats is it designed to fit? Exactly what are you planning on doing? Thanks Sandy
I want to put a set of buckets in my Reg cab truck from a 95 Bronco but I was told I had to drill holes and it still might not line up properly. It has the console and everthing mounted on the original frame. I was hoping this adapter would do the job.

Actually, what was said is that you will need to drill holes, but the alignment is up to you and your abilities.
It was mentioned that your best bet was to get a 40/20/40 seat to bolt in, if what you want is a *simple* bolt in configuration that will give you bucket like seats.
If what you have is buckets and a console that are mounted on a FRAME, like you mentioned in both threads, what you have most likely didn't originate from a 1995 Bronco.
BUT, I have swapped a few sets of seats into a few different cars. I don't like the idea of drilling new holes, the manufacturer engineered the stock mounting points to hold the seats. I prefer to modify the stock tracks to fit the new seats or modify the new tracks to fit the stock floor pan. If you aren't able/equipped to cut/weld to make this work safely, then I suggest you stick with a stock bolt in. I know there are a few bolt in options from different year F series.
Look at SHOP4SEATS.COM (click on truck seats). You can select high back or low back and you order the exact frame FOR YOUR truck. They are a direct bolt in and the seats and console bolt right up. There is no drilling. Just depends if you want to part with the $. Actually, after I priced every thing and doing it my self these were about the same cost and they fit and are new. I couldn't find anything at the J/Y that wasn't crap.

If correct terminology is your thing, then you may be correct as far as this generation F series are concerned, although I see the 40/20/40 as two buckets and a console attached to a frame.
A "captains chair" is an arm chair.
And Ford actually used the terminology "bucket seats" on other models in this time period.
Here is just one example from 1995:
"Standard bucket seats, Dual or Quad Captains Chairs"
Thats the only exception in the F series lineup.we never sold any because the dealer had to be SVO certified which required many thousands of dollars in new equipment and " certified" SVO techs...

I guess you could say Model T's had bucket seats, too. I think we are talking 87-97 F series...no biggie.
