Bucket list--
Where do you want to go or what do you want to do--- My list has changed- I used to want to go to Mardi gras in New Orleans (went to the one in Rio) and the center circle at Indy-- no wife weekend in Vegas- and Burning man--- explore a real south American jungle -- Go to Maine
but now I would like to
Wheel in Alaska-
See the liberty bell
See the Smithsonian
Tour the white house
Have a net worth of 1,000,000.00
get my trucks fixed
Spend more time with my kid/parents/wife
Go to FNA Firehouse
See Arch-light fab
See Henry Dorley Zoo (this August :-)
I have not regrouped and determined my new bucket list.
It was:
Ride/drive on a racetrack, such as nascar, or drag racing, but I did that, and don't have to do it again.
Sky Dive. I did that and don't feel a repeat is necessary, but if the opportunity reoccurred, I wouldn't say no.
Drive the Holy Cross Trail in Colorado, and I would definitely do that one again.
an old one but a good one, Iron Chest Trail in Colorado, loved it, would consider doing it once/week if life warranted it.
This list could go on for a while.
So I will start building a new one here:
Make a good life for my family.
Earn enough money so that my wife and I can't spend it all in this life time.
Spend more time with Family and Friends.
Buy one new vehicle once in my life.
Space travel
Travel by Sail Boat in the ocean for a month each year to visit different cultures.
Finish the resto modifications on my 52.
Replace tires on my trucks and Jeep
Have a big workshop and garage.
Not officially on my bucket list, but part of me wants to become a nomad and travel to and live for a short time in different towns, states, and/or countries to find the one place that just really speaks to me and start a life there.
I want to drive a fast Lamborghini, or a Veyron. or at a minimum ride in one while someone else drives it fast.
I want to own a sports car at some point in my life.
And a Prius... Or something that gets better fuel mileage than a Prius, so that if I want to take a weekend and drive on a long road trip, it only cost me a buck 25. Laugh all you want.. I just want to not have to think about fuel mileage if I want to drive to Vegas, for a long weekend, or Denver to eat at Casa Bonita, or to Breckenridge for ice cream and dip my feet in the water.
I want to live off of the grid for a few years of my life.
I want to find myself in a job that is both rewarding financially and spiritually
I have owned several sports cars- for the most part they are kinda like owning a boat- happy day when you get it-- happy doy when you sell it! :-) Hate Prius's-- well not the car- just some of the wacky self righteous people who drive them
