It's been pretty slow in the evenings lately so I haven't been sticking around either..

Didn't go to the Diner last night. Patty had a tiring day and didn't feel like going out. We stayed home and had a bowl of oatmeal instead.

She didn't go there yesterday, She goes to her father's on Wednesdays but she also had to pick up a friend at the train station. The train was 3 hours late due to engine problems.

It's been too hot to do anything around here lately, our thermometer was reading 96° in the shade today..

We're suppose to be out of the heat here. We didn't get out of the 70s today. Was very comfortable for a change. LOL

I'd prefer it be in the 70's, would be cheaper to not having the a/c running most of the day..

I waited all Winter for the heat to get here, Now we dream of Winter to cool down. LOL Sounds stupid doesn't it?

It hasn't felt that humid here, it's been awhile since we've had any rain..there is some in the forecast but have yet to see any..
