My view question

Towed my inlaws boat this past weekend with my ‘17 platinum. Now every time I start my pickup the tow status tab is opened up in the my view of the gauge cluster when nothing is hooked up to pickup. I like to have the digital speedometer in my view. This was the first time i towed with this pickup. What do I need to do to have the digital speedometer appear every time I start my pickup like it always did before I towed? I’ve tried turning pickup off with the digital speedometer on the my view but when I go to start again, it is back to tow status tab.

you have to select "no active trailer"

You need to go to the trailer settings and select “no trailer”. Also disconnecting the plug from the trailer with the engine running will tell the computer you are no longer towing. I have both my trailers set up with names so I can track the mileage put on each trailer and if I do not select “no trailer” when finished towing the truck will still keep racking up miles for the last trailer connected even though it is back in the barn!
