Hi I have a 2001 Ford F150 six cyl auto that pulls a 3000 lb travel trailer ..when I go up long hills it overheats but does not shut down so I keep going until top of hill then I turn it off and start it again. should i get a bigger radiator to stop the overheating. Its supposed to tow upward of 5000 lbs. ??
Welcome to the forum and we hope you enjoy your time here. We have a great group to answer questions and help with problems. We look forwards to your questions and input.
You can ask your question in the year and model specific forum and someone will be with you soon. Look in your states chapter and talk with your neighbors.
My first suggestion would be to find out what your axle ratio is then head to the
trailing guide, this will give you the information your looking for I would also
take your trailer to a scale LOADED with what you always bring along
