Bench seat compatibility

I have a 2006 E350 and have the opportunity to get used bench seats for a 2008 E350. I can see that the mounting system on the bottom of the 2008 benches dont appear the same as what is on my 2006 benches.

1. Will the 2008 benches fit?
2. If they will not, can I swap out the existing floor mounting bracket for 2008 style mounting brackets?

I just got a later model seat for my 1996, and I was able to swap the mounts on the SEAT, not the floor. It worked. Take a look at that possibility.

Where did you get the mounts? Or did you remove them from the old benches and put them on the new benches?

I just swapped them. I can't guarantee it will work for the years you are looking at, but it's worth checking, anyway.
