I'd try the Holley Pro-Jection unit.
I've seen the "old time" fuel injection units for y-blocks on ebay from time to time, but they go for big bucks when one pops up! More than I'd want to spend!
Yeah, I know about the old fuel injection, but I'm looking for newer ones for semi-daily use on my '57 312, so a modern one would be best. I'll check into the Holley unit, thanks.
To the best of my knowedge, I don't think anyone is making a new F.I. setup for y-blocks yet. But they're starting to make everything else it seems, so maybe just a matter of time!
My brother-in-law (mechanic who owns a speed shop here in town), has a very good used complete Holley Pro-Jection setup that he wants to sell if you're interested! I think it's the 690 cfm model.
Put that on top of a Blue Thunder intake and I'll bet your 312 would run pretty good!
You could talk to Jerry Christenson about a custom intake that is set up for multi port fuel injection.
