new guy in Tucosn

haven't been in a ford since my 92 F-250 back in the late 90's. Was looking for a hunting vehicle and mud fun with kids and found a neighbor to my ex's uncle with a '78 F250 Custom 4x4 for sale. picking it up next week once he rebuilds carb, puts in new radiator, and mounts rear fuel tank back in it. comes with the rims and 33's on it and a second set that are newer, since the trucks been sitting for most of hte last 9 years. I know i'll have to do some work on it but i'm good with that. it's got the 400M motor and C6 auto. only downside was i was hoping for a manual tranny but oh well. Always was a fan of big foot and loved the old hi boys. this isn't a high boy but from what i've read a 2-4" lift could fit 35's to 37's so will see lol

thx, unfortunately didn't pick it up this weekend like planned. guy has to clean the front fuel tank, install the rear, and still install the holley 750 on it. had a 600 on it and old plugs trying to burn off hte old fuel. it's a neighbor to family so getting a good deal, just have to be patient to pick it up lol.

I know this is a couple years late, but WOW, that is a GORGEOUS truck!
--- EDIT, I went and removed the 3 paragraphs of me rambling about how gorgeous these were and comparing them to the also gorgeous Bull/Brick/OBS models .... you're welcome :-)
