I was replacing my brake pads. Everything was going normal until we started it up. No preasure, cant figure it out. We bled all the lines and still no preasure.
When you did the replacement did you push the "puck" back into the caliper to get room to get the new pads in? Sounds like you may just need to pump the brakes several times to get the new pads in position right at the rotors.
Is the pedal "spongy" like there is still air in the lines, or is there no assist at all?
Remember on the diesel's hydro-boost brake system, the pressure to operate the brakes comes from the power steering pump, so check the level in the P/S reservoir as well.
Thanks for all your help guys. I gave up on them late last night. This morning, I went outside started her up and the brakes work perfectly. I dont understand it, but they work..
