Transmission woes
Slight delay then loud slam when going from park to reverse or drive to Reverse.Truck is a 95 F150 4x, ifs, w/5.8. I replaced motor mounts tranny mount new driveline rebuilt rearend , replaced rear seal and fuild in transfer case. This symptom came on gradually over a month’s time. Took it back to the rear and shop, they say everything checked out fine? No metal in the fluid lash was good. I’m wondering if it might be the chain in the transfer case, or One of the solenoid stuck causing high pressure in reverse.? Any thoughts? Thank you
