Hello eveyone again, I have a 1990 f-150 2x4 XLT shot bed x-cab and I'm woundering if putting all new shocks the one's that have the springs built in (saw them at autozone) would lift my truck up so it's level from front to back????
Please someone help me I posted a question about the same thing about a week ago and got only one answer back that had nothing to do with the shocks I'm looking at.
I'm assuming you are talking about coil over shocks, similar to the ones used on motorcycles. Most times high end coil over shocks have a spring preload adjustment (cheap ones may not). This is what you need to ask/look for to achieve your desired results.
