drop in replacement uses same oil. R-134a isn't R-409a.
from past experience R-134a will run much hotter. so unless you keep the condenser tubes very clean and straight the head pressure will be a lot higher.
R-409a will run about the same exact temp and pressure.
its your decision, your truck. I can only tell you what I know works and what I would do again.

No, Just require the buyer either provide you with their 609 cert or sign a release saying that they are taking it to a shop or certified person to use it.
