We have hosted house concerts since 2011 and we have an excellent show coming up on Saturday June 16, 2018 with George Ensle. Our shows are considered private and by invitation only. We do a potluck before each show with us providing the main dish. There is a $20 per person 'donation' of which 100% goes directly to the artist(s). Doors at 6:30, potluck 7 and music starts at 8. There are 2 sets with a short break between to mingle, buy merch, talk with the artist, etc.

George Ensle (pronounced Enslee) is a veteran Singer/Songwriter who began his career in Houston in 1967 sharing stages with legends Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark and Billy Joe Shaver. He pens his own brand of StorySongs, powerfully crafted and played with his unique finger picking style on his vintage Martin D-35 and Fender Resonator guitar. He is celebrating 50 years as a performing songwriter and in February 2017 was inducted into the Houston Folk Music Archives at Rice University. George is a Song Painter. He paints stories. Sometimes he uses broad strokes to paint hilltop sunsets, and tree-lined rivers, and sometimes he paints with fine detail the portraits of everyday people you feel like you know.
