Heim joint question
I'm about to repair my clutch rod arm with the heim joint modification. The instructions say to cut the rod as close to the base of the eye as possible. Does that mean at the base where the rod begins to swell or does that mean at the base of the eye itself? For example, cut through the rod in such a way that the cut passes through the back part of the eye opening?
