I know I don't get to board as often as I would like but know that I am still active and working on my son's truck. This post is for the son of my son's girlfriend. Not necessarally family but he is still part of this family. This morning an MRI was done and the results were not favorable. He has a large tumor at the base of the brain and they are rushing him to the Twin Cities. He has to be there by four o'clock for surgery. We have all seen this type of plea on this forum in the past and this group pulls together like none other. Your thoughts and prayers are and will be appreciated. Thanks so much.
Praying for him and family, doctors and staff... I know what prayers can do in this situation... this group is phenomenal ... we'll keep him lifted up.... keep us posted on his status
Colton's mom posted that they will be putting in a shunt tomorrow to bring the pressure and swelling down. Hopefully that will take two to three days. Have to wait and see. When pressure is in the right range they will go in and remove the tumor. Our son texted and said it the size of a kiwi. Once the tumor is removed they will monitor the pressure and if need be they will have to put a permanant shunt in. The surgeon believes the tumor is benign.
Thanks to everyone.
God always knows what we are going through and invites us to bring our concerns to Him in prayer. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to join you in praying for your loved ones recovery.
