Console swap
#151
2.5hrs start to finish. 30 minutes of that was trying to plug in the 12V port in the front cubby. The wiring was too short to reach without the console being very close to the dash....which meant my huge hands wouldn't fit...and of course I was trying to plug it in blind.
Anyways...I didn't check the rear 12V port to see if it worked...but I don't use that one anyways.
Another 20 minutes was spent cleaning some grit out of the sliding cover for the front cubby, and I had to swap the cup holders between my two inserts. Yes, there are different cup holders, they do interchange, and one of them won't fit into the console (I have the F150 console)
And 10 minutes of that was trying to keep the "boss" out of the way. She had to make sure I was doing everything in the right order!
How ya like this CrewCab guys?....no B-pillar in my way!

I have the same interior and was searching for a console with the medium earth grey lower trim and rear section. Medium earth grey version is harder to find. Yours looks like it came factory and that color seems to be more available so thanks for posting the pictures.

H20 camper do you know anymore of the pins. I have an 19xlt and I would like to get the rear usbs and 12 volt inside the console to work. I got the inverter hooked up from your diagram but I can't figure out the rest. Also I'm trying to install the superduty cupholders in a console shifter console and I'm having some difficult . Has anyone had to modify the console to make it fit??
Thanks
Thanks
And after typing all of that, I remembered that some SD's have the piece that slides from side-to-side to go from 2 to 4 cup holders. Is this the type you are talking about? If so, then it's not what I have so disregard the above.

I guess nothing works with the plug down by the passenger seat on mine. Other than the USB and 12V plug in the front under the sliding cover that I hooked up myself...nothing else in mine works (lighting, 12V in bottom of console, 12V on the rear, and the 110V outlet (which my truck doesn't have anyways)). There was a large connector under the front of my console which I had nothing to plug it into, so I believe that ran the rest of it. The seller did include the truck side of the plug with the wires cut, so I could wire it up in the future. I have LED light strips I am gonna throw in to light the storage area...
