So I wasn’t able to find anything about door cards interchange from different 80’s vintage trucks. What I have is a 87 f800 crewcab with 97 f350 doors. Will 87 door cards fit on 97 doors, and where can I find new crewcab rear door cards?
In my 35 years of restoring cars of all makes and models I’ve always called them door cards. Matter of fact my buddy from the UP calls it the same.... So are they interchangeable?
Blaaaaaa Blaaaaaa ford blaaaaa. So can you answer the question or just want to show off your copy’s of pages from fords service manual? I’ve been to the hornet, it’s a cool museum but the maintenance crew seems like a club when I researched it. I digress are you able to answer the original question ?

The thing is, Ford changed the door trim panel part numbers when they changed the colors, so the part numbers used in 1997 will not be the same as 1987.
And originally, there were two different doors used in 1987. One type had only a right side air vent, the other type had air vents on both sides. Both were later replaced by 1991 doors.
So 91 doors are the same as 97? Do you have in your nifty book a count of how many clips that attach the door card in 87 compared to 97? Might be the same
So I went to pick and pull and paid 38 bucks for a DOOR CARD that they should have paid me to take and yes 97 f350 doors will take earlier model DOOR CARDS!

usmcpat, you know me, we've talked before about your F-800
Smarting off to ND and others is not a good thing.
Google LMC Truck and look in their 1980-1996 truck catalog, they offer a good selection of Door Panels for your truck on page 59, $240-250 a pair for new panels
I'm 63 years old and have been messing with cars and trucks since I was 15, this is the first time I've ever hear them called Door Cards, you listing that link saved me looking it up.
Ford calls them Door Trim Panels, Brits call them Door Cards, most of the US call them Door Panels, it's all the same thing.
Call them what you want, don't get mad if we call them something different, but you'll find more info on them if you google or ask about Door Panels
Oh my gosh!! Why don’t we call them fairy wings.........do you know and understand what I’m explaining!? If so what’s the big deal?? Do you understand the question, is this a World Wide Web, we’ve already determined that other countries reefer two different parts of the vehicle with a different nomenclature......so I want to argue about turtles
