I have seen answers to a very similar question, but not this exactly this one. What is the differences between a early 99 F250 and a early 99 f350? I’m thinking it is only the 4in rear block.
the bare bone xl , the block size would probally be correct.
but, becuase of the possible options...I dont think you can say if shopping used all 250's and all 350's are only different by the rear lift block size.

Yes they both had the same engine and transmission options, same axles, same brakes, same spring rate options, rear swaybar and overload springs were optional on both. But unless someone swapped it out the 4x4 F250s will have a 2" block and the F350 will have a 4" block in the rear.

10/4
my point is if you are shopping for a used truck...it would not be a true statement to say the difference between f-250 and f-350 is a 4" lift block. too many options for these trucks that are highly sought after ...plow package, tow package, camper package, etc, some packages have swap bars, etc,

Yes there are many other things to look for other than it being a 250 or 350. My pont was that if you have two identical trucks with the same options only one is an F250 and one is a F350 the rear block size is the only physical difference.

that would be correct...if they had the same options.
im not sure if the f-350 overleaf is an option or standard for a 350. EVery 350 I have seen had it.
All the options mentioned above were available on the 250s and 350s, but as stated earlier, the only difference between a 250 and a 350 outfitted with the same options is the rear block.
