Had the check engine light on for a few days, think its another misfire. Would stay on steady but sometimes flash when I gave it to much gas. Could feel the lost of power and studder. Was waiting until I was off of night shift to take it in for service.
Going to work the other day and it wouldn't start. No turn over at all, nothing when I turn the key. Battery is fine, everything else is working. I tried taking the negative off to reset the PCM to see if it would let me start it to drive it to the shop but nothing. I swapped the PCM fuse with the fog light fuse to see if that was blown but still nothing. The battery and check engine light stay on after the initial turn of the key.
Am I pretty much screwed? Was hoping to drive it to the shop but looks like I have to get a tow.
Check the battery voltage while you are cranking it. If it drops below 9V, it will not start. Could be a bad battery, not enough cranking amps or a bad alternator, not charging the battery.
Could pull battery and take it in to be tested/charged.

You could turn the headlights on and watch them while someone try’s to crank the engine.
If the headlights go real dim or go out when someone try’s to crank it over,
either the battery is not up to the job, OR, you have a poor battery connection or poor battery cable.
If the headlights stay bright while attempting to crank it over, more than likely there is a problem with the starter control circuit or the starter itself and further diagnostics will have to be done.
