i know alot of your trucks have names... what are they? i've owned a delores, a black betty, a POS chebby, and now im deciding what to name my new truck... im in need of some good ideas here
When I bought my pickup, a previous owner had transposed the D and F in Ford on the front of the hood. So my trucks name is Dorf, just like the short little man Tim Conway pretends to be in the videos.

"TRUCK" - it is simple and works well in all common phrases - for example:
I like my "Truck"
Let's go in the "Truck"
Where'd I park the "Truck"?
Hey man, can I borrow your "Truck"?
Are you still playing with that "Truck"?
What's the matter with my (angry pre-name) "Truck" now!!
Look out you silly rabbit driver, or my "Truck" will run you over!

Hey J.R. My dad taught me a trick that I thought was complete crap but it worked on my old 83. The paint was tan and it was chalky and faded really badly. Washing it did nothing, it just got chalky when you dried it. Sounds crazy but I did it and it really brought the shine back and it stayed so far. A 5 gallon bucket about 3/4 full of water and about 1 - 2 inches of kerosene on top of the water. Dip you a rag or whatever you use in it and start rubbing. Rinse and dry and see how much better it looks. Don't know why. Probably has something to do with the oil in it or whatever but it worked. I did that about 6 years ago, 1 time (it broke down and got parked or I might have done it again) and the stupid thing still hasn't gotten chalky again and it still has a shine too it that it never had before I did that. May sound hokey (or at least I thought so and still do) but it worked....
Thanx!
