Looking for set of Factory Black lighted Running boards

WTB/ Looking for a real nice unfaded, undamaged set of factory black lighted running boards for my Excursion. I have a real nice set of tan ones on my truck in case someone wants to trade. My brackets etc are all perfect, and all I really need is the black exterior plastic covers if that helps on shipping.

I have tried salvage yards etc via car-part.com , but nothing local, and no one will ship.

Have you considered Line-x as an alternative?

I have a set of non lighted ones that could easily have the lights installed in them and i'd give them away. Only down side is I'm in AK.

Hmm. There is a molded hole with a supporting plastic structure surrounding it that the lights fit into on reverse side. Does yours have that with just a cover or something where lights go?

Have you thought about prepping them and painting them black? I bet an auto body shop would be able to advise you on the proper paint to use for that material, so it holds up.

I did consider it. My body shop guy was reluctant due to the constant foot traffic on them, and his concern they would scratch easy even with adhesion promoter.
