Does anyone know why I cannot find Bilstein 5100's for my 17 F250? I see them for 16's. Is there a major difference? I see other shocks that fit both years...

from what I’ve read, the fronts will fit, but the lower bolt on the rears is larger on the 17+. Bilstein has been slow to come out with a proper rear shock and others have been pressing in their own bushings and sleeves.

Reviving an older thread, does anyone have the part number for the 5100 front shocks for 0-2" of lift? Everything I'm finding online is for 2"+, This is for a 2018 F250 stock height.

I have used these shocks on my '13 F350, '15 F450, and '18 F450 - no lift. On the newer trucks rear shocks require the bushing and sleeve - last two links.

The bushing sleeve seems to be out of stock. Has anyone been successful in reusing their stock sleeve?
The outer diameter of the stock sleeve is too small for the bilstein bushing. The oem is a one piece elastometal bushing, whereas the modified setup uses a separate bushing and sleeve.
FYI......
Over 45% of goods on Amazon and Walmart.com are Chinese fakes. That is a fact. I won’t order squat from the Amazon network.
So, I’m not saying the Bilsteins are fake, but the chances of them being a Chinese knock off of the real thing is high..
I thought the 4600 was the correct shock for non lifted trucks.????????????
Was just going to post this ... if your not lifting your truck, get the 4600 instead. it is *identical* to the 5100 in performance and design. The 5100 is intended for a lifted truck.

The link I provided is the real deal - they are an online vendor as well.

UPDATE EDIT: Just spoke with Stage 3, said all the rears come with everything needed to install on the truck...
Yes, you will need the sleeve and bushing.
The shocks do come with hardware - they are correct on that. But this applies to earlier trucks - they are useless for the 17-up application.

It is. The 5100 is also another option.

The 0-2" version of the 5100 will work just fine for a non-lifted truck -there are other versions with different lift increments. I have had the 4600's and 5100's, and have stuck with the 5100's. You can't go wrong with either.
I got mine at 4wheelparts and am so glad I replaced the Ford “Ranchos”. The ride is so much better!! I could compress the stock shocks by hand and they were very slow to rebound. I ordered from this link, they get your truck info, select the correct part numbers, and ship them to you. I had them in less than a week. Between installing the Bilsteins and a new Fox steering damper, it feels like a totally new truck. The 5100’s fit just fine even though my truck is stock, not lifted. The ride height before and after was the same.
One word of warning for any shock replacement.....if you have a B&W turnover ball hitch, replacing the right rear shock is a major pain. The upper bolt is right next to the hitch. I had to loosen the entire hitch to get enough clearance to get the shock off. The nut comes off, but there’s no room to slide the shock off. That was the only issue I had, otherwise it’s an easy replacement.
