Hello from oregon.
Names Jeff. I'm a 29 year old middle class worker. I used to drive a nissan D21 real hard. Lifestyles changed. I dont feel like fixin 4x4 stuff no more, and now I'm a proud owner of a 94 E250 with the I-6. I originally was looking at picking up a mid 90's astro. The first three I checked out were lemons. Left me feeling unsure on them. I grew up in one and thought it would be a good one to get back into. After seeing how tight the engine bay was I didnt feel so confident in them anymore. At the time I had seen 3 or 4 econolines cruise by (fleet vans) and it clicked. Econolines. I see em everywhere. Those fleet vehicles get regular maintenance... Started looking into them and found a base model for 1500. Fully gutted with just work bins inside and the divider but no door. Its perfect. I plan to make a pretty minimal build in it. Just good insulation and storage.
