Passenger window seems to rattle/vibrate at low idle.Also if I drive over a bump.It is very annoying!Help?

 

I looked into this and its not the window - just the door panel rattleing on the metal its attached too - at least on my truck. I found this out by sitting in the passenger seat if I held pressure on the door panel and the rattling stopped - thats how I came to guess this but it sounds like a window rattle. The door panel hooks onto the door with several hooks all over and then has places where it rivets/screws into place. Remove the trim panels, then the rivets/screws/wires etc to get in there and just lift the panel up and off the door. I think the foam sheeting between the hooks and the door panel don't give it enough of a tight fit sometimes and makes it rattle. Next on my to-do list is to take off the door panel and put some dynamat sound deadening material down, and make that door panel fit tighter. Hopfully that should solve your problem (and mine!) with any luck I'll get to that in the next few weeks and I can keep you posted on how it comes out. Good luck and if you're motivated to get in there yourself there are instructions in these forums - I think in the FAQ as well on how to remove the door panels. Its not that bad. I've had the panels off before installing aftermarket speakers. Good luck and hope that helps!
