dana 44 question
Hi guys, I was wondering if a dana 44 out of a 76-77 ford 3/4 ton 4x4 would bolt right in place of the original in a 71 3/4 ton 4x4? Also will the dana 60 from the rear bolt into place?

The Dana 44 will bolt right up. The Dana 60 rear will bolt up too as long as it is a 77-1/2 and older. The 77-1/2 and later are wider in the rear like the 73-79 2wd's are and will require you to move the leaf spring pads in some to work on a 71. The narrow frame on the 73-77-1/2 F250 4x4 requires the gas tank in the cab just like the 67-72 trucks.
