$2000.00 PCO from Ford

If any one is interested, I received a PCO via email from Ford and you`re more than welcome to it because i`m not purchasing a new vehicle anytime soon.

Are you sure about that because in the SD section, owners who have received them have passed them on to potential new buyers and they have used them.

I believe all one has to do is give me their info to fill it out and their all good to go at least that how i`m figuring it out via the SD section.

PCO = Private cash offer.
If its the same one I got, its registered to you.
Read the blue box, only transferable in your household.

Local dealer has sent me several emails already.
They know who got them.

I received one for Ford, after contacting them continuously, only $1000. Mine came with a Certificate number and Program number, pretty sure it was attached to my name because the Dealer saw it on their system. Your is a Dealer one?, right

That is the safeguard for Ford.... it must be in their system.
If its not in the system, they won't give it to the dealer.
Generally a Dealer will check their system as part of the negotiations.

Not saying a dealer won't give you $2k off.
Just saying its not from Ford... and you probably didn't negotiate your best deal.

I got one from that discussion over in the Super Duty forum and used it yesterday on the deal for my new F150. It was in my name and in the dealer's computer when I got to the dealer. $2000 of the final price no questions asked. I'm not sure exactly how they were generated in that thread but they were genuine and it worked perfectly .

What does not transferable “out of household” mean? If I got the $2k PCO in my mail box with my address but not in my name, can I use it still?

You would have to ask at the dealer. But I think that it means that it would transfer to anyone in your "family" that resides at your address...spouse, child, etc.

Again, my PCO was in my name so there was no question.

What if it was a former resident? Who’s to say it’s not my cousin?

I really think that your best bet is to just call your local dealer and ask. When I presented my coupon yesterday, it was very matter of fact. It took just a few seconds to confirm it.

The one that I received didn`t have a dealer name on it and yesterday, I passed it on to a friend that was in the market for a new truck. I`m not sure if it makes any difference but when I purchased my truck in 2016, it was purchased from a Ford dealer in AL and i`m in GA.

I`ll give an update on the PCO and if my friend was able to use it.

Have a great day.

The dealer absolutely knows who is getting these offers. I purchased my 2018 F150 on a Saturday, the dealer applied the $2000 PCO without me even asking - and that was before *I* had received the offer. I got the offer it in the mail Tuesday, 4 days after the purchase.

Success....I`m not sure this would work for everyone but my friend was able to use the $2000.00 PCO from Ford that I received via an email.

He filled it out with his info and it was accepted and was in the computer at Wade Ford here in Atlanta when he got there.

Again, my vehicle was purchased out of State back in 2016 so i`m not sure if this is why he was able to use it compared to what others have said.

Have a great day.
