On my truck, 2017 6.7 Platinum, I do not get my "Change Engine Oil Soon" light at 10% oil life remaining. On the last iteration, the dealer said it should come on at 5%,. not 10%. The manual, on page 137, says 10%. If that is messed up, maybe something else is.
The last time I brought it in. The Mechanic reset the indicator, and no further troubleshooting could be done. I am going to try again while it is still under warranty.
Does the indicator come on at 10% for everyone else?
Need I say more? Dealers aren't smarter than the books written by the guys who actually built the truck.
I see it is at 10% due to my Vehicle Health Report. I do not get a light on the dash to ever come on. Not at 10%, not at 5% the last time it went there.
At this point, if I was not paying attention to mileage or the health report, I would never need to change oil at all...

Ah ok sorry, was confusing. Sounded like it came on at 10%.
