'92 Explorer Radio Problems (Newb)
Ok basically I have two problems with the radio;
1) I recently had a starter/celenoid(sp?) problem and my radio went nuts. When I start the car sometimes it will come on and somtimes it won't. On the occassion it does come on, all it can do is flash 3 dashes "---". I think it might be a fuse but I'm not sure, anyone know?
2) I tried to get my radio out to check and see if it was a fuse like I though, but I'll be danged if I cannot get that thing out. I have no clue on how to remove this factory stereo, please help.

you have to have a special tool to get the factory stereo out, if yours was like mine and had 4 holes near the ends of the radio (2 on each side). Stereo/electronics shops will have this tool...it's not expensive.
