Suggestions
I have 51 f1 that I had the mustang 2 front end put on, the problem I have is that, the wheel bearing dust cap sticks out a little to far and the original center cap won't fit. The wheels are a bullitt style off a mustang, anyone has suggestions to fix the problem.

I have a Heidt's Mustang II front end on my 50 F-1. I put a set of Bullit style wheels on it because the lug pattern changed and I needed to make it a roller. Yes, the dust cap sticks too far into the wheel, but a bigger problem is the high positive offset of the wheel. There is no way I could use the wheels without sacrificing more than a third of my turning radius. The inside lip of the wheel contacts the upper control arms long before I reach the steering stops. This may be something to look into before you spend too much time looking for a workaround on the center caps.
Unless you have somehow avoided that same problem, new wheels may be your only real option anyway! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news
