Hey Guys,
i was doing the Fox steering stabilizer install and broke the bolt that came with the Fox kit. I stupidly over torqued the bolt and it snapped off, now I can’t get the Fox stabilizer off. The pickle fork I used doesn’t seat well on the Fox bolt, it’s so tight the pickle for just spreads and doesn’t budge the stabilizer.
Should i drill it out? Use a two jaw puller to put pressure from the bottom? Or just say heck with it and roll. It’s pressed in there very tight and ain’t budging

Holy crap Big Hoss lay off on the spinach! LOL. Have you tried a punch on the broken bolt side to try to force the bolt back out?

Yes I have. First thought was to do that. Then added the pickle fork and punched the bottom. Was using a 2lb hammer to try and punch it out. Wouldn’t move.

Heat is your friend, use torch (propane will do) heat the Drag link bar around the stud and then use punch to drive out. It should pop right out.
Air hammers can sometimes be of use in cases like this. I've removed some pretty stuck fasteners with an air hammer and sometimes with the addition of heat.
