Howdy from Southern California. New owner of an F350 Lariat + upgrades, 2018, crew, long box, SRW, 4WD purchased primarily because I tow a 5th wheel. I come from long very loyal GM background and have never owned a Ford truck. I did own a 78 Ford Maverick though.

The 5th Wheel is a 2008 Jayco Recon garage toyhauler. 40ft long, 3 slides with the 12 1/2 ft Garage.

So where do I start... My wife and our extended family are very much into off-roading. Started with dirt bikes when I was a kid (late 60's) up until about 5 years ago I rode pretty often. after putting 5 years into the Army in the late 70's, getting through college, getting myself employed in the electronics industry I got back into biking around 1987. I had a 90 CR500, 2002 KTM 520EXC, 2005 KTM 525MXC which I still have. Over the last 8 years we have migrated to the SXS (Polaris RZR, with age comes a cage) and we go to Glamis, Ocotillo Wells, Truckhaven, Johnson Valley, Utah, Colorado, Nevada and Arizona.

Planning to retire in about a year and relocate out of California to Utah. I know what some of you folks are saying but that is not why I am here LOL...

So, just getting familiar with the new F350. I have almost 600 miles on it. So far so good.
