Rustoleum Red Rusty metal Primer 1 Gal by brush, 2 coats(24 hrs between coats.
Let sit for 48 hours. Light sand with 400 WET/DRY (WET).
DRY THOROUGHLY.
TWO color coats of Rustoleum SMOKE GRAY (2/3 Gallon) and 1/2 Pint of BLACK GLOSS for trim brushed on. 2mil thick coats.
Let set up for month or two and wet sand with 600 to level brush marks. Spray (buddy has sprayer, no time right now) with remainder of smoke gray above thined by 10% with Acetone. This will give smooth gloss surface.
It ain't showroom, but I don't need a $600.00 paint job for going to the landfill and or transporting ship parts.
Less than $75.00 spent on paint, stripper, sandpaper, brushes.
