when i got my bronc it had a mysterious knock as some of you have read, i finaly found it the #1, 2, and 3 pistons were slapping, it was off to road runner engine rebuilders for a long block 302 (great warranty 3yr 75k). so im swapping parts across and i notice that i now have spots now for two dipsticks now (the engine that came in my 81 was from a 79 van acording to the block stamps) one in the timing cover and one in the side of the block i tried to drop the distributor in and it just wont go. : come to find out there are three different distributors gor the 81 man was i upset. if i new how to send pics i would send some i think some of you would enjoy them.
