I recently purchased a 1974 f250. I believe it's a camper special. my plans are to swap out the entire engine and transmission and install a modem engine and transmission. I would also like to upgrade the suspension. I was thinking about the 2.7 EcoBoost. Can you guys help me out with some info. Thanks

I have the 2.7L in my F150, good choice. As you probably know, you will need all the electronics to go with it so everything works right, and finding a way to get around the electrics you do not have on the 74.

 

What year truck did you install the 2.7. I would appreciate any info you can share

 

I'm sorry to mislead you Ben, I have the 2.7L in my 2018 F150, not dropped into a project vehicle.
