F250 or F350

I am looking at buying a new Superduty and moving to Texas in the next year or two. My question is whether there is an advantage in having one or the other of these two vehicles from a registration or license standpoint? Having lived in various states I know sometimes there is a difference in the cost between the two even when equipped with nearly the same payload. Thanks in advance.

{The following is personal opinion. YMMV.} You will never regret getting the biggest truck you can afford. When it is loaded to the gills, you will be thankful you got the 350. I think the cost for a personal use F350 is about the same tag wise to the F250.

What state are you to coming to Texas from?

Thanks Timothy,

I am currently in Iowa. Our oldest son lives in Roanoke out by the speedway. I agree that bigger is almost always better!

I used to live in Roanoke. I moved out of the Metro Mess in 1999 back to My home area of Abilene. It has grown so much up ther it is unbelivable. I lived 1/2 mile from the race track when they were starting to build it.
