Radius arm

Looking to find radius arms for my 1978 F-250 2wd.... Can find all other parts related to them just not the arm itself.. it is all stock. The part the bushings go on are worn badly... Previous own didn't take good care of it.... Any ideas where to get a set? New would be great, good used one would be nice too... Does anyone know interchangeable ones that would work? Can't seem to find much info.... Thanks...

Time to get the welder out. Run multipul beads, then do some grinding.

Check Craigslist, car-part.com or Google "1978 F-250 2wd radius arms" there's a bunch of options that show up.

D5TZ-3A360-A .. Radius Arm - R/L same / Obsolete

1975/79 F100/150 2WD; 1975/79 F250 2WD Regular & Crew Cabs; 1975/79 F250 2WD Super Cab except with 8,100 lbs. GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating).

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

1975/79: F250 Super Cabs with 8,100 lbs. GVWR & F350 2WD are different!

Seeing 3x 75-79 trucks online in my local JYs, the JYs without a web site quite often have the older stuff still.

I said this in the 3rd line. Do you see F350 mentioned in the 2nd line where I listed the applications?

How difficult would this be for a novice welder? I just snapped the threaded end off my radius arm and need to replace it or fix it. Am I better off taking it to a fabrication shop?
