I recently read some where in these forums that if you remove the pcv valve line from the back of the plenum and attach it to the vacuum tree in the middle of the manifold it will cure a troublesome miss. It did!! I have had a troublesome miss that on ly appeared when going up hills and then would go away. After doing this simple mod my miss has completely gone away and the engine seem to produce more power.I am assuming that the pcv valve is dumping excess air and oil vapours directly into the #8 cylinder causing it to miss and could also could ruin the piston in time. Any way it worked and still looks factory so it was well worth the time and effort and it didn't cost a dime either.
