I have a small oil leak at my EGR housing (or where the EGR used to mount). Under this plate where I'm pointing. Is this the right gasket/oring?

Trying to wrap my head around an oil leak on that housing and I come up void.

Can you sanitize the area surgically and see if your not dropping coolant.

I wouldn't do this until you get it operating room clean around the housing first, but if it still weeps, a 1/4 turn on the housing bolts may do the trick.

Yeah I guess i could try to tighten them...that simple step never crossed my mind.

It's def. oil. And it's dripping down on top of the belt.

 

Josh, did you have any success with the clean and retorque????

Haven't had a chance to work on it yet. But I will certainly report back when I do.
