2002 Explorer Trasmission problem?

2002 Explorer Trasmission problem?
hey i've had my 02 Explorer for a year now and it has 25000 miles on it. I accidently drained my tranny fluid one time thinking it was my oil and my transmission has had a problem since. The problem is, whenever i brake hard and come to a stop my transmission jumps into neutral and doesn't engage back into drive. Also when i reverse out of my driveway, putting my transmission into drive, there is a delay. What could this be? Please help a young guy.

nope the only problem i Had was that the truck would go into a false neutral after coming to an abribt stop. The engine would race upon reapplication of the throttle for a moment and then operate as normal
