Get the elocker from the factory and be done with it. The cost is low. If you don’t, the first time you get stuck without it, you’ll be cussing yourself.

Well I definitely have some decisions to make then. I know what i WANT but i dont know if i WANT to pay for it. Not sure a FX4 would be in my price range new. I have seen some 2018 F250 XL 6.2 4x4 supercabs in the $35k-$37K or range online and i can swing that. Most of the 1-2 year old used FX4's that i see are diesel and are $42k and up and if they are a FX4 6.2 in the mid 30K range they have 50K plus miles on them and that's not my thing. If i can find a XL the price i like with a E locker then great but if its a needle in a hay stack like the 4.30 gears (or so i have read), then i might have to wait until my twins daycare bill of $700 a month goes away in two years and settle for a 1-2 year old used F150 FX4 until then lol.
