337 flathead

I am looking at getting this flathead for a truck I am building. The truck is a 1947 heavy duty that I am tossing a 37 body on. I recently found this flathead for sale and was looking at getting it, It looks to me like a 337 v8 but I am not entirely sure, Can anyone verify this for my from the pictures. Also would anyone know where I could find some more 337 v8 because parts for these motors are getting harder and harder to find and especially for the 337 original parts it seem must be used. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance,

A friend of mine has a rebuilt 337 engine ready to go that he is selling. That one your looking at could be used for the bolt on parts cores. Carb, distributor and other bolt on items as I'm not sure what all
he has with it.
He also has a few of the 239 flatheads (rebuilt) that he is selling off. He has been building these engines for along time and is needing to downsize.
send me a message if you want his contact info.
thanks
Josh

A member of the local truck club had a 337 sitting in his barn a few years ago. I could get a hold of him and inquire if he still has it if interested. He's in Congress Ohio, just south of Lodi. I have a 5 speed clark that came out of an F700 and was behind a Lincoln 332 truck engine. I also have the bellhousing from the 332. Don't know if they used the same bolt pattern. PM me if your interested.

337 also used in 1949/51 Lincoln and Lincoln Cosmopolitan. There are some differences between the truck and Lincoln engines (exhaust manifolds/dipstick/tube for examples).

302 and 332 are Lincoln derived Y blocks installed in misc 1956/63 700/850 series trucks. Bell housing not the same as 337.
